Describe an overview of your Program Manager Role.

Currently, I am working with one of our clients to migrate their customers off of legacy solutions to modern ones. This is critical for customers to avoid service disruption and to modernize their current environments. As a Migration Program Manager, my role is to work with customers large and small to understand their current state and advise on their best-desired state and help them get there.

How did you start your career in consulting?

After a long stint at Microsoft where I worked as a developer support engineer, developer, evangelist, marketing manager, and team manager in various areas like Windows, Azure, .Net, and other disciplines, I wanted to use those extensive skills to help customers achieve their business goals. Additionally, I wanted to be part of a smaller organization/company as Microsoft had grown from a small company to a corporate giant, and consulting provided a great outlet.

What has been a highlight of your time with Prime 8 so far?

Thus far, Prime 8 has offered a flexible work schedule, augmented with an awesome work environment, a collaborative team, and a highly supportive management structure that genuinely cares about their employees.

What is your favorite part about your job?

I work with great people and have a flexible schedule within a cooperative and fun work environment. I work with complex yet fun teams within clients like Microsoft and working on projects that are making a real impact for customers and clients from a revenue and relevance standpoint.

What is the best lesson you have learned during your career?

It’s more important who you know as opposed to what you do!

How do you like to spend your weekends?

I enjoy traveling, golfing, and helping in the community.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

Africa. What a wonderful continent!

What is your all-time favorite tv show?

Cheers!

What is your favorite part about living in Washington?

I love the educated population, the scenery of the water, mountains, and the abundance of things to do and places to visit.
